□哥倫比亞娜玲瓏省(Narino)省位於該國西南方,西臨太平洋,南臨厄瓜多爾(Ecuador),安地斯山橫貫全省,咖啡種植在1600~2300的高海拔雲霧帶上,土壤是肥沃的火山地質,豆形較小但飽滿,色澤翠綠.娜玲瓏產區年產量中的絕大部分由美國大型豆商收購,在北美市場大受歡迎.

□Nariño Smallholders
Nariño Supremo comes from smallholder coffee farmers in the department of Nariño, Colombia. Coffee is harvested on the family-owned farms between April and August, with a secondary harvest in the winter. The producers process coffee at their own wet mills. Coffee is then typically dried on elevated tables inside solar dryers, which protect the beans from the rain.
□Unique Growing Conditions
A combination of favorable rainfall patterns, sunlight, and rich soil make it possible for farmers to grow coffee at a high altitude at relatively low temperatures. It would be practically impossible to grow coffee high in the mountains of Nariño if not for the daytime accumulation of heat at the bottom of the canyons, which then rises during the night to counteract the cold temperatures in the mountains. This unique climate also favors the development of desirable attributes in the coffee. The metabolic reaction of Arabica plants to lower temperatures produces a favorable combination of proteins and sugars, resulting in the characteristic sweetness of Nariño’s coffees.
